Caleb and Olivia met way back in 2016 at North Park University! Things were different back then - Caleb had really long hair…but that didn't stop the attraction when they first crossed paths at the 'bridge' on campus. College years went by and the pair mingled here and there at apartment parties, but it wasn't until Halloween in 2018 that the pair initially hit it off. Their fling gave them a hint of things to come in their future, but it was short lived as Olivia was busy finishing her senior year and Caleb jetted off to Ecuador to study abroad for a semester.

Fast forward to March 2020, COVID began, campus shut down, and Caleb was back home living in Madison, Wisconsin with his family. Olivia was living in Chicago with roommates, but because of COVID, two of them moved home, leaving two bedrooms open in her apartment. As May approached, Caleb was looking for a place to stay in the city after remotely graduating from NPU. With a big nudge from the couple's friends, it was suggested that he move into the apartment for the summer with Olivia and two other girls (Deity & Grace). After two short weeks of living together and with the help of Deity & Grace letting them know each other's feelings, Olivia & Caleb were "dating" and officially became boyfriend/girlfriend on July 19, 2020.

Caleb moved out later that summer and into an apartment with his friends in Uptown, but that didn't stop them from spending almost every day together. A couple years later, Olivia moved into an apartment just a few blocks away from him and the rest is history! JK…after five years of relationship ups and downs, trips to places like New Orleans and Mexico and many nights spent at Holiday Club after Caleb's band performances, the couple knew deep down that they were each other's person.

That brings us to May 2025, a monumental month in their timeline - getting engaged! The pair decided that their engagement was the perfect excuse to travel to Europe. They agreed to visit London and Amsterdam - two cities that neither of them have been to before. The couple chose Amsterdam to be the city Caleb proposed in because of their shared Dutch heritage. With a little bit (or a lot) of Olivia's planning and visionary skills, their engagement was an absolute dream and on May 27, 2025, Olivia and Caleb were officially engaged! They chose this date specifically because it’s right between their birthdays (Caleb's is May 25th and Olivia's is May 29th).
